A Drop Point in PaperSave is a method of capturing documents and sending them to a PaperSave workflow.   Each Drop Point can be associated to a single workflow, but a workflow may have several Drop Points.  The reason a workflow may have several Drop Points is to capture documents from different methods, such as Email, drag and drop, scan, etc.

Going Paperless… PaperSave at the Empower the User Conference

KTL Solutions held its 10th Annual User Conference on Thursday, May 14th. This year we invited several more ISVS (Dynamics GP and CRM Companion Products) so that users could see more ways to enhance their systems outside of what GP or CRM has to offer. Being a Consultant at KTL and Our Annual User Conference.

In this blog, I wanted to provide a little insight into what it is like to be a Consultant at KTL Solutions and shed a little light on what our user conference is all about from a consulting perspective. I have been working at KTL Solutions as a Senior Business Consultant for a little over three years. In this capacity I have been implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and PaperSave along with many third party add-ons. Taking Advantage of the PaperSave Worklow

In November of last year, I wrote a blog about a Document Management system called PaperSave. The PaperSave document management system captures and stores documents electronically from varying drop points, routes the document through a workflow, and can upload a document directly into Dynamics GP. At that time, PaperSave had recently introduced version 6.0 of their software, which provides additional functionality to the end user through Email drop points, browser based interfaces, and a full mobile solution for workflow routings.

PaperSave Version 6.0 – Document Management at the next level

I have been involved in a new PaperSave implementation utilizing the newest version of PaperSave – PaperSave Version 6 and I wanted to provide a summary of my findings.  In PaperSave version 6, they have added several new features and have further taken advantage of the browser based technologies.  Overall, I was impressed with the product and I think it would be a good addition to any ERP system.
