Microsoft announced that a payroll tax update for the new stimulus payroll rule will be released at the end of March. The update will consist of two updates.
The first will be a tax update that will incorporate the tax change to include the new tax credits that individuals and couples can receive.
The second will be in April that will incorporate the 941 report change for the new stimulus package.
The April tax update will require the update to be applied to all work stations since it will be a code change to the application.
In February Round 3 tax update was released for a change in state tax and FMLA rules and should also be applied.
